I know it seems I post about these boys alot…. could it be a symptom of being an empty nester and used to having 6 children around the house? I should want to relax and take it easy! But then who could resist these faces!
This is how we learn about tying knots…
Can’t be all play and no work- they also learn about service and these boys do a great job!
For quite awhile I’ve been wanting to make a homemade pie- you know the kind you have to roll out the dough and actually put some effort into it!
I hear it’s all in the technique!
Emily Clark was nice enough to let me come to her house and practice with her!
Can you tell this is one of those photos where you see how far your arm will reach?
Why am I taking photos of this? To prove it can be done ….. and of course to taste the finished product!
Thanks again Emily- I owe you :)
Our Immokalee Cub Scouts are working on their Naturalist Badge and so one of the requirements is a visit to the Zoo. We decided on Sept. 1st since it’s Free Saturday for Collier Co. residents. Of course being summer in Florida it is very ‘hot and humid’ and add to that 15 boys……
First activity- Primate Expedition Cruise on Lake Victoria (in other words- to see the monkeys)
Waiting for the ‘FEATURE SHOW’
Boys . . .
Of course there was Giraffe feeding!
We are beginning to Melt at this point…
Finding a way to Cool Down… fan that blows water- nice
A favorite was the ‘Snakes Alive Show’
We survived to tell about it and will live to see another day! :)
