It's My Time....

Today I started my training... To be a Giraffe Docent at the Naples Zoo
They are one of my favorite animals!

There are 5 young males and all very curious!

While there we got to take in a show!

So if you happen to come to the zoo look for me with
the Giraffes- remember the 1st Sat. of every month
is free...

Hang in there....

'Motivation Moment' This picture made me realize that when things are tough
as they seem to be lately that you can hold on and dig in
your heels (claws) if needed. The landing might not be
too bad.... :0)

Cherish the moment...

You gotta love these 'old photos' I'm pretty sure G.ma Wampler was babysitting and
a 'moment' happened. I cherish the look on Phil,
Amber and Audrey's faces for I know how much they
loved their G.ma....

Miss Hailey...

The Story-
For those that haven't heard Hailey
was running at the playground and a
piece of mulch (8-10 in.) went through
her shoe and into her foot, also taking
with it a micro piece of the plastic. This
caused an infection in her blood and her
foot began to swell alot. We were told she
would have to be in the hospital for
10 days but after the MRI we found it
had not gone to the bone and she could
go home earlier. Thanks for all your
prayers and concern!
Passing the time away....
Special delivery from G.ma & G.pa

A cookie bouquet- complete with pink
and purple Zoo animals!
She's going home today on Wed. the 11th.

1214 Seminary Street...Key West

Then & Now.... This house holds alot of memories- pictured here is my
Uncle Danny (3 yrs. older than me) myself sitting on the
'Bug', my mom, G.ma Scenters and G.Gma Penrod. Not
only did my grandparents live here but my family for
a time (while I attended 4th grade). I celebrated my
1st birthday in this front yard and walked to a Pencostal
church close by- called Glad Tidings Tabernacle.
Now here it is.... quite changed but in my mind I can still
hear my Grandmother calling me in for a snack!
Coming full circle with my daughter Audrey...

Nothing remains quite the same....

The post below this one is a collage of our trip to
Key West(smilebox)that way I could fit alot of pictures in.
I wanted to add these- Places & People that mean alot! Key West Naval Hospital- where I was born. It is no
longer there but I went to the library in their historical
section and was able to find this!

Postcard of the hospital...

Best friends grave- I like to visit whenever I can! Friends- Knowles Family& Sondra at the K.W. Branch

Lunch with Sondra & David

This time next year the branch I joined the church in

will be gone and a new one built. Progress is good but

also sad as I think about the memories made in that little

building- if only the walls could 'talk'
