Celebrating the 4th of July again by being in the Naples parade with our cub scout pack. Our 3rd year in a row! This time we had the help of our son Patrick and his girlfriend Ping. She was quite excited to wear a Scout Shirt….
Patrick even wore his Eagle Scout sash but has grown alittle since those days
It was a very humid day so we were pretty melted by the time the parade got started!
Chris is one of my favorite scouts (shhh) and he turned 10 on July 4th.
All too soon it was time for Patrick, Ping & Himo to leave us. We enjoyed their company for a few months. We are happy to say Patrick got a ‘real’ job and will be living in Austin, TX.
After the busy wk.end we made our way over to Ft. Lauderdale with a stop at Randy & Linda Godard’s home and then started our trip to Nauvoo.
This year Phil’s family joined us. We enjoyed the Bagpipe Band….

We were fortunate to see both pageants this year (original and the British version).
The main reason we come is for my Mom’s b-day! She turned 81 this year!
We are thankful for our Pioneer Heritage!
