Pioneer Day...Our Way!

To celebrate Pioneer Day (July 24th)

we took the 'scenic' drive to Orlando through

small towns- since I'm a country girl at heart and

like to see cows and such. I love names such

as Wauchula... Beautiful day at the Orlando Temple
I love anything Amish and had wanted to try this restaurant!

This place was featured on Man vs. Food
Deep Fried Southern Chicken


And then there's the pies....
Steve ordered Black Raspberry and I got the most
popular one- Peanut Butter!
I know I sound like a commerical.....
But I plan to go again!

So even tho' we didn't get to dress up like Pioneers
or pull wagons I did get close to a buggy :)
