The times they are a Changing.....

Seeing is believing...... our old kitchen!

This picture was taken on Jan. 4th, 1992

Patrick's 7th birthday party

Ahh.... yes- the blue curtains in the background

and these just came down (how sad) so 20+

years. As you can see 'Change' is slow in our house!

Who could forget the bench chairs?

Phil's 13th birthday (11/91)

Behind Phil is my old bulletin board I had

mentioned in a previous post- at least it was

moved to the pantry (alittle change) and now

it has gone the way of the world (for the moment

it's sitting on my scrapbook room floor)

Our new updated version- new windows and valances

I do think the times are changing- one question for those who are in the know! Do I need something to go across the middle of the window or is it ok to leave as is?

A change will do me good....

My children know this is a 'big moment' I have replaced the bulletin board in the pantry....
Some may say- that's no 'big deal' but I have had this
bulletin board since we lived in Orlando (1985-1987)
so going on..... 26 years!
The ole gal still has function mind you but she has seen
her day and I have been eyeing this new set up below
from Pottery Barn (drool)
Best angle shot I could get of the
whole thing!

another view- Steve and my Dad
worked hard to get this up. It was a
birthday present from my beloved! :)

I went out immediately to get colored
dry markers. Steve was smiling at me
as I was writing on the calendars.
As you can see it's not complete yet.
Almost afraid to put things on it (hah).
Funny how the simple things can
make you happy :)
