#2...Easby Abbey & Richmond Castle....

Steve and I took off one day to explore-
Came across the tranquil ruins of Easby Abbey..

Sheep are very plentiful in England but yet I can never
seem to get enough pictures of them!

I love old cemetaries- many died at such a young age!

England is known for it's footpaths..

On to Richmond Castle... North Yorkshire

Richmond Castle is the oldest stone built Norman castle
in the country.

Mind your head and your manners!

The town grew up around the castle, built
by the Normans on the 'Riche-Mont',
meaning strong hill.

Wildflowers are everywhere!
